Grief Support Group Therapy

At Walnut Creek Psychiatry, we believe that a safe and therapeutic environment empowers the development of confidence, identity, and strength and assists in learning, growth, and healing.

Group therapy is essential for navigating various challenges, and research studies show that group therapy can be as effective as individual therapy. Shared experiences and support create powerful learning environments.

The purpose of grief counseling is to help you cope with loss, like the death of a partner, family member, friend, colleague, or pet. Losing a loved one may lead to emotional and physical pain, which can impair the ability to function day-to-day.
