Adolescent Group Therapy

At Walnut Creek Psychiatry, we believe a safe and therapeutic environment empowers adolescents to develop confidence, identity, and strength and assists in learning, growing, and healing. Adolescents are in a crucial season of life and experiencing physical, emotional, and social changes.

Group therapy is essential for adolescents experiencing various challenges, and study results provide evidence that early intervention is critical to preventing long-term struggles. Research studies show that group therapy can be as effective as individual therapy. Shared experiences and peer support create powerful learning environments for adolescents.
