
Montserrat Gonzalez Padilla

Montserrat is a compassionate, client-centered therapist passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges and achieve their personal goals. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology from Iowa State University in 2024 and has experience working with children and adults with disabilities and clients of diverse backgrounds.
Montserrat is actively completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is an intern as a Mental Health Therapist at Walnut Creek and has been working with children, adolescents, and adults since January. During this time, she has received training in Psychological First Aid and Crisis Intervention.
Montserrat utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, including person-centered, Psychodynamic, Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She has experience supporting clients who are struggling with presenting concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, personality disorders, substance use, multicultural issues, etc.
Montserrat’s goal is to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey. Outside of the office, Montserrat enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her family and dog.
