Tracie is an empathetic and caring client-centered therapist who has worked to help people on their health journey and reach their goals for over 20 years. Tracie graduated from Buena Vista University in 2006 with an MA in Professional School Counseling and worked with children of all ages for 20 years within the school setting.
She recently earned her temporary license as a Mental Health Therapist and has been working with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds for the past year and a half. During that time, Tracie also received training in EMDR, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and Play Therapy. She has experience working with all ages, using a myriad of strategies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, and Attachment Theory. Tracie has worked with people from ages 3 and up who are struggling with substance use, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief & loss, trauma, and other behavioral disorders. Her goal is to provide an environment of comfort and safety where the patient and therapist work as a team.
Tracie enjoys spending time with her husband, her 5 children, 4 grandchildren, and her cat (Dunkin). She also enjoys drinking coffee, reading, and exploring new places (especially thrift stores).
