Lexi graduated summa cum laude from Bradley University with a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. She completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa, where she studied music therapy with minors in psychology and Spanish. Lexi has years of experience working in mental health as a music therapist with children and adults. Additionally, Lexi served as a mental health case worker.

Lexi utilizes an eclectic therapy approach with focuses on person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapies and enjoys taking an individualized approach to get to know each patient. Lexi serves all ages at Walnut Creek Psychiatry, both in the Ames office and in the schools. In her free time, Lexi enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs.
